This is my first blog ever. The reason I have started blogging is to vent my inner feelings to a third person rather to keep everything in my mind. Ok let me write about how was the not so eventful day!!!!
As always i woke up a bit late at 7.30am in the morning, coz of which i missed my office cab supposed to pick me up by 7.47am. This is i think fourth time i am missing the cab in past 6 days, credit to my innate deep sleep. After finishing the bathroom routine, wore the neatly ironed shirt, i reached the bus stop by 8.30am. I didn't expect empty bus in the rush hour of the morning, but in all the buses there was not even space to breathe...At last i got one and luckily found a seat for me as well. The worst thing that can happen to anyone is missing a cab and going to office by one bus after the other. Yes there is no straight bus to office from my place :( I reached the office by 9.10am by the connection bus from marathahalli. Today the sun was scorching at 9am only. I was tired because of all the walking in the sun and struggling bus ride. I went to my cube after having delicious plain dosa with vada (deadly combo).
I don't know why i feel like not working when i sit in front of my laptop everyday in the office, bit weird i agree. May be i am not that interested in doing my job. But I have to for my daily bread and butter.Cant think of finding a new one in this recession time you know!!. I started with the things i left or half done yesterday. Actually i was killing time the whole day.
The mundane activities like having lunch at 12.30pm and tea at 3.30pm all happened. I was counting every second when will i get out of my cube and do something that interests me. finally i completed the day's tasks. phewwwwwww.
The best part of the day was the evening volley ball session. i went for the first time to play in campus (as we recently moved in) and took part in the non-professional match. I played three games out of which we won 2-1. Final game we were asked to stretch the game point till 50(normally its 25 )!!! Overall i really enjoyed the time i spent in the ground. All of my services were spot on except one, its ok i would say its coz of bad light :) I had some snacks after the game before returning to my cube. It was already time to catch my office bus to back home. I just shut down my lappy and made a bee line towards bus. It was a nice journey compared to the morning one to office.
For dinner, I had two boiled eggs and some plum cakes. With lotta work to be completed like finishing SOP, preparing the checklist for universities, filling online application forms and reminding prof for filling reco, I am writing my first blog ever... going to bed now.. I shall continue tomorrow..hope it will be more interesting and eventful day.
